Sailing Instruction

Georgia Tech Sailing Club provides instruction in the sport of sailing for anyone from beginner (including anyone who has never been on a sailboat before) to advanced. Even though there are specific classes, every skipper is encourage to teach practical concepts of sailing at any time when going sailing with new people. You don't need to attend any class before going sailing with us, but you're encouraged to take the class if you have never sailed before and you want to get skipper qualified.

• Basic Sailing Class- GTSC has an Options class that teaches basic sailing concepts and prepares you to take out the clubs boats.
• Advanced Sailing Class - This class teaches more advanced concepts of sailing and racing, and also prepares you to take the keelboat certification written test.
• Basic Windsurfing Class - New GTSC Options course to teach the fundamentals of windsurfing.
• Qualifications - what you need before you can take out a club boat... Don't worry, it's easy to get.
• Instructors - GTSC Instructors
