Sailing

The purpose of the Georgia Tech Sailing Club is to encourage, teach, and promote sailing in the Georgia Tech community. The club is open to all students, faculty, and staff with sailing experience ranging from lifelong sailing to those who have never been in a boat before. We have a wide range of boats from windsurfers, single and double handed dinghies to catamarans, and keelboats. We do recreational sailing (cruising), racing and instruction.

Georgia Tech Sailing Club is based on Lake Lanier Sailing Club, on Lake Lanier, located 45 minutes northeast of Atlanta. Sailing is also done in the various club trips. To be able to skipper the different boats we have, you need to have the correspondent qualification.
